A Course In Miracles International represents the millions of teachers and students of the Course who individually or through healing centers or transformational study groups are discovering the peace of enlightened mind for which all humanity yearns. The healing of body, mind and spirit through the training of our Course is being practiced in virtually every country of the world.
Our interest in educational dissemination and outreach follows from our personal imperative to extend Jesus Christ's message of love and forgiveness to the world.

With no regard to race, color, creed, gender, or national origin, there is, has been, and will always be, in our species an innate, inborn faculty of expanding self-realization and understanding of our entire purpose for existence, derived through and by acts of forgiveness and love.

Teachers of God are out in worldwide service. They are helping individuals, groups and organizations of any diversity or variety to augment and facilitate the transformation of a temporal existence called “human being” to its own reality of whole eternal life.

LESSON 48There Is Nothing To Fear.The idea for today simply states a fact. It is not a fact to those who believe in illusions, but illusions are not facts. In truth there is nothing to fear. It is very easy to recognize this. But it is very difficult to recognize it for those who want illusions to be true. Today’s practice periods will be very short, very simple and very frequent. Merely repeat the idea as often as possible. You can use it with your eyes open at any time and in any situation. It is strongly recommended, however, that you take a minute or so whenever possible to close your eyes and repeat the idea slowly to yourself several times. It is particularly important that you use the idea immediately, should anything disturb your peace of mind. |

High Thoughts –
Almost nothing is more unreasonable or illogical to an awakened mind than the concept that Time is Sequential.
The persona’s determination for self-identity based on previous experience makes no sense at all to an awakened mind. In the case of the destruction of the American space shuttle – when world mind announces that the shuttle explosion was caused by a defective fuel tank, awakened mind is immediately aware that, on the contrary, it is the explosion of the shuttle which caused the booster tanks to be defective. An awakened mind is fully aware that conception must precede perception. If you base present occurrences on past experiences, you are thinking only in the past tense. This is what linear time thinking is. In reality a billion to one chance of an occurrence is exactly as likely to happen as a one to one chance. Cause and effect are never apart. If you can think of it, it is and was and will be. This is not in any way to indicate that space/time does not have continuity; that is, that it is not a whole single thing.
On the contrary, your beingness is based on continuity of mind. But that continuity is absolutely not sequential unless your limited state of consciousness is determined to make it so.
