Q1. What is the history of A Course In Miracles International, Inc.?
A. A Course in Miracles International was incorporated September 11, 2000, in the State of Wisconsin and is a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt educational organization.

Q2. How can I verify your organization?
A. Our EIN # is 39-202603. Our corporate status can be verified by calling The Wisconsin Department of State Corporate Division at 608 261-9555.

Q3. How can I make a donation to your organization?
A. You can go to our How You Can Make Financial Contribution page and choose the project and method of contribution.

Q4. Are you affiliated with any religion or religious organization?
A. ACIMI uses the teachings of Jesus in both the New Testament and A Course In Miracles in the fulfillment of our mission statement. We recognize that God, and Jesus' message of personal, individual transformation is universal and does not belong to any one religion.

Our focus is on your personal experience of God through mind transformation irrespective of any doctrine. That with no regard to race, color, religion, gender, or national origin, there is, has been, and will always be, in our species an innate, inborn faculty of expanding self-realization and understanding of our entire purpose for existence, derived through and by acts of forgiveness and love.

We have come to know that "A universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary."
ACIMI does have affiliations, from time to time, with individuals, groups and religious organizations who share our mission and purpose.

Through the Miracles Prisoner Ministry we have a friendly association with The New Christian Church to enable us to bring our spiritual program of recovery and transformation into the prison system. The New Christian Church does not consider themselves to be a denomination nor are they concerned about theological doctrines or any worldly religion. For details on their beliefs please click here.

Q5. How will the funds I donate be distributed?
A. General donations to ACIMI or donations made through our monthly giving program and T-shirts go directly to ACIMI. Funds are then used to cover:
· Production and distribution of our multi-media materials.
· Expenses for national and global education programs and events.
· General overhead of ACIMI.
· The rest of the funds are distributed amongst the various projects.
A. 100% of the donations made to any of our projects go directly to that project.

Q6. Are my contributions tax-deductible?
A. A Course In Miracles International, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Your donations are tax-deductible. As with all charitable donations, you should refer to your tax consultant for specific personal tax advice.

Q7. What is your privacy policy?
A. As a matter of policy ACIMI automatically registers your donation as anonymous unless you check the box on our forms or tell us it is ok to publish your name as a donor.
A. We do not give or sell any of your personal details to a third party.

Q8. I'm from outside of the United States. Can I donate?
A. Yes, you can by using our Secure Online Form.

Q9. I would like to donate my equipment or other supplies. What should I do?
A. Please call our Administrator, Kathy Reiss at 608 253 1447.

Q10. My employer is offering matching funds for my donation. What do I need to do?

A. Often all your employer needs is the fund information (see Q3). They can use our form here to make the donation and either mail or fax it in with your donation. If you need additional information or paperwork, let us know.

A Course in Miracles International, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific, or religious purposes within the meaning of Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
To the extent consistent with the above general purposes, the specific purpose of this corporation shall be the transformation of the mind through the miracle of Love and Forgiveness, the international use, education, dissemination and communication of the message of, and, A Course in Miracles throughout the world, in service to the world, through education and the experience of transformation, and to extend this process and message, the effect of which is the experience of personal, Global Peace, to every individual in the world.
